Bristol Rovers won convincingly at Bromley on Saturday, with the final scoreline reflecting a performance that grew increasingly dominant as the afternoon wore on.

William Hondermarck gave the visitors an early advantage on 18 minutes, and though Bromley regrouped during the remainder of the first half, they could not find an equaliser before the break.

The second half began badly for the home side. Three goals arrived in a short, damaging burst around the interval period, with Joe Quigley, Shaqai Forde, and Yusuf Akhamrich all registering to put the game beyond any realistic doubt. Rovers had taken Bromley apart with direct, purposeful play, and the hosts had no answer to the movement and pressing that carved through their defensive shape.

Forde added a third personal goal on 50 minutes, and Kane Thompson-Sommers extended the advantage further on 58 minutes. By this point Bromley were searching for any way back into a contest that had long since slipped from their grasp.

Luke Thomas came on as a substitute in the 76th minute, with Oyindamola Ajayi and M. Dinanga following shortly after. Forde completed his hat-trick on 81 minutes, and Mitchell Pinnock closed the scoring two minutes from time.

Bromley were overrun in the key spells of the match. Rovers leave with a commanding victory that will carry confidence into their next fixture.
