Forest Green Rovers left Roots Hall with a comfortable victory over Southend United, the scoreline reading 0-6 by the final whistle in what proved a thoroughly one-sided Saturday afternoon fixture.
The visitors took control almost immediately. James Golding struck inside three minutes to settle Forest Green's intentions, and Gus Scott-Morriss added a second on 15 minutes before Southend could find any response.
