Fleetwood Town beat Bromley 2-0 on Saturday afternoon in a match that shifted decisively in the home side's favour during a frantic second-half passage of play.

Bromley made the brighter start. William Hondermarck put them ahead inside five minutes, and for much of the opening period they looked the more composed side, content to defend their lead and threaten on the counter. Fleetwood struggled to build any sustained pressure and went into the interval behind.

The game turned immediately after the restart. J. Arthurs was booked at the start of the second half, adding to the tension, and by the hour mark Fleetwood had found their rhythm. Mark Helm was cautioned in the 64th minute as the contest grew more physical. Then, in the 66th minute, Nigel Kabamba equalised, and that goal arrived alongside a cluster of bookings for both sides, suggesting the match had reached a point of genuine friction.

Kabamba struck again two minutes later to give Fleetwood the lead for the first time. From that point, Bromley could not recover. Mitchell Clark was booked in the 75th minute, and Toby Mullarkey followed him into the referee's notebook five minutes later.

The closing stages brought further cautions, with J. Arthurs collecting a second yellow and being dismissed in the 90th minute. Harrison Neal, Owen Devonport, and Conor Haughey were also shown cards as the game ended in considerable disorder. Fleetwood held on to take the three points.
