Eastleigh beat Rochdale 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in a contest that the home side controlled for long stretches, with their opponents offering little by way of sustained threat.
Emmanuel Dieseruvwe settled Eastleigh's nerves early, converting inside 16 minutes to give the hosts a platform from which they rarely looked troubled. Rochdale reorganised at the break but the second half brought only further disappointment for the visitors.
