Queens Park Rangers defeated Blackburn Rovers 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in a match that tilted decisively in the home side's favour during a frantic spell either side of half-time.

Blackburn had shown promise before the interval. Koki Saito opened the scoring for Rovers in the 35th minute, and they appeared to be building momentum. What followed, however, was a collapse. Mathias Jørgensen equalised for QPR on 21 minutes in what the timeline suggests was a chaotic, non-linear period of scoring, with Sean McLoughlin adding a second in the 36th minute before Isaac Hayden struck almost immediately after. Jørgensen then completed his brace on 39 minutes, leaving Blackburn reeling going into the break.

Lewis Miller extended the lead early in the second half, and Ryoya Morishita added further goals in the 50th and 84th minutes to underline QPR's dominance. Blackburn never recovered the composure they had briefly shown before that mid-game unravelling.

Several substitutions were made by both sides in the closing stages, with Harry Pickering, Yuki Ohashi, Harvey Vale and others introduced, though none altered the outcome. Late entries from Eiran Cashin, Kristi Montgomery and Adam Forshaw in stoppage time confirmed the game had long since been decided.

QPR were ruthless when the match opened up. Blackburn's inability to defend that critical ten-minute window between the 36th and 46th minutes cost them entirely.
