Solihull Moors beat Eastleigh 3-0 on Tuesday evening in a contest that the home side controlled for long stretches, though the scoreline took until the second half to reflect their dominance.

Eastleigh had the better of the opening exchanges, with Conor Wilkinson finding space at 20 minutes before Scott High edged Solihull in front three minutes later. The goal shifted the balance, and Solihull grew into the half with greater purpose.

The interval brought the decisive swing. Harvey Saunders and Bradley Stevenson both struck in the opening minute of the second period, turning a narrow lead into something far more comfortable before Eastleigh could reorganise. Sam Pearson's introduction at 49 minutes gave the visitors fresh impetus, but Solihull's defensive structure absorbed the pressure without serious alarm.

Darius Lipsiuc and Emmanuel Sonupe added further threat for the home side around the hour mark, and the visitors responded with a flurry of changes. James Waite came on and made an immediate impact, earning a second yellow card at 74 minutes to reduce Eastleigh to ten men. Ben Worman and Will Sutton followed him off the bench, but with a man fewer and two goals down, Eastleigh could not manufacture a route back.

Alex Whitmore and Angel Waruih saw yellow in the closing stages as the game became fractious, but Solihull saw it out without further incident to claim all three points.
