Tottenham Hotspur defeated Arsenal 4-3 in a north London derby that produced seven goals, three red cards and a stream of momentum shifts that left neither side with much dignity to claim.

Arsenal controlled the early exchanges and went ahead through Jurriën Timber in the 27th minute, only to concede twice in quick succession. Eberechi Eze levelled three minutes later, and Randal Kolo Muani put Spurs ahead at 32 minutes. Archie Gray added a third before the break, and the scoreline flattered neither side given how open the game had become.

Viktor Gyökeres pulled one back for Arsenal almost immediately after the restart, and Cristhian Mosquera's dismissal in the 57th minute shifted the balance again. Eze scored his second goal four minutes later to restore Spurs' two-goal cushion, but Dominic Solanke's departure in the 62nd minute left Tottenham reduced as well.

Arsenal pressed late through Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Ødegaard, narrowing the gap to one with both sides down to ten men. Yves Bissouma's red card in the 86th minute complicated Spurs' task further, yet Mathys Tel and Noni Madueke combined to secure the result in the closing minutes, with Gyökeres adding a late consolation.

Spurs held on despite finishing the match heavily depleted. Arsenal will feel they surrendered the game in a chaotic five-minute spell before half-time.
