Wrexham beat Ipswich Town 3-1 on Saturday afternoon in a match that shifted dramatically across its opening forty-five minutes before settling into something more straightforward after the break.

Kieffer Moore gave Wrexham the lead inside six minutes, converting with the directness that has defined much of their season. Ipswich responded well and briefly took control of the contest. George Dobson levelled in the 16th minute, Anis Mehmeti put the visitors ahead four minutes later, and Max Cleworth's contribution on 26 minutes extended their advantage. Leif Davis and Callum Doyle were both active in that period, with the latter drawing a yellow card before half-time.

Wrexham pulled level through Cédric Kipré, who scored twice either side of the interval, his second arriving on 47 minutes to make it level after Iván Azón had added a goal in first-half stoppage time. The timeline of events across those forty-five minutes produced something close to chaos, with substitutions and bookings accumulating rapidly on both sides.

The decisive goal came from Nathan Broadhead, who settled the match with his effort on 86 minutes after a second-half that saw Wrexham gradually reassert themselves at home. Ipswich, despite several personnel changes including the introduction of George Hirst and Chuba Akpom, could not find the response they needed.

Wrexham's greater composure in the final quarter proved the difference.
